Coffee Time Parks was born from that moment.
We believe the park isn't just a place — it's a ritual. Whether you're catching the sunrise before the day begins or winding down as the evening light turns golden, there's something about being outside, coffee in hand, that restores you in a way nothing else can.
Why we started Coffee Time Parks
It didn't start with coffee. It started with a dream of a Park!
Welcome, my name is Chuck Coffey. My wife and I traveled from our home in the Sonoran desert to the Eastern Sea Board to visit our daughter — who had just ushered our second granddaughter into the world. We stayed in a nice Airbnb, but our time was limited per our budget. After meeting our shiny brand new Grand Daughter we knew we'd be making the trip often.

They work with importers around the world to select coffees chosen for clarity, balance, and the ability to shine across any brew method. If it doesn't meet their standard, it doesn't go in the bag.

Why we started Coffee Time Parks
It didn't start with coffee. It started with a dream of a Park!
Welcome, my name is Chuck Coffey. My wife and I traveled from our home in the Sonoran desert to the Eastern Sea Board to visit our daughter — who had just ushered our second granddaughter into the world. We stayed in a nice Airbnb, but it had to limit our time per our budget. After meeting our shiny brand new Grand Daughter we knew we'd be making the trip often.
However, the budget wouldn't allow for long term visits so I looked into camping parks in the area. What I found were tourist-focused resorts with swimming pools, costly amenities, and busy slab-style RV lots. Nothing quiet. Nothing modest. Nothing for someone who just wanted to be near family without breaking the bank.
We thought — “We’re not the only ones"
So we started looking into building something different, a park for the community, tucked in the trees. Quiet and safe, affordable. A place where you come to visit family, and to be entertained by nature, not so much all the stuff. So we ventured into an LLC — for Coffee Time Parks — registered in South Carolina.
Being retired it would take some planning and funds that we don’t have to build this dream park. So we started looking into our own coffee business to get the ball rolling. The most time getting the business started was finding a quality coffee roaster. The time was well spent we were lucky to find a roaster with 4 generations of experience and 4 generations of relationships with coffee growers around the world. They roast the different coffees weekly guaranteeing Freshness.
Coffee Time Parks sells great coffee to great people who love the outdoors — and every bag sold moves us one step closer to building the dream park in Horry County, South Carolina so we can bounce back and forth to visit our granddaughter more often, and to provide an option to other travelers who might not be looking for resort style accommodations at resort style pricing.
That's why we're here. The coffee matters, and it has to be Great Coffee!
